A great walking golf course. Can be played with just a wedge and a putter. Good course for beginners, seniors, and youngsters. Holes range from 40 to 80 yards and are illuminated for night play. You can tee off until 11 p.m.. For you night owls lights are turned off at 1 a.m.. The site also offers an 18 hole Miniature Golf Course. Directions: Car - Van Wyck Expressway to College Point Blvd. Make a right into the Park. Turn right and continue to the Pitch and Putt. Flushing Meadow Park is East of the United States Tennis Association Center. Closest parking is under the Van Wyck Expressway. Mass Transit - : 7 to Willets Point Blvd - Shea Stadium, LIRR to Willets Point. Walk south to Park and continue to left to pitch and putt or by bus - Q48 to Roosevelt Ave and walk south into Park.
